Urn Questions

Can I use an Irish Heritage Urn for a pet?

Yes, of course. If you wish to provide name, dates or other details for a pet, we will happily engrave them onto any urn for you.

Are these urns suitable for a columbarium?

Irish Heritage Urns can be placed in a columbarium. However, it is essential you check with your cemetery as to the maximum dimensions their columbarium niches will hold, as these vary. Sizes for each Irish Heritage Urn are provided on individual product pages.

Can the urns be buried?

Yes, absolutely. If you wish to bury cremains in an Irish Heritage Urn, the organic wood will degrade over time as the natural materials from which each urn is created returns to the earth.

Are the urns sealed?

Our urns are crafted with a tight internal lip for secure fitting; however they are not impervious if knocked over. For this reason, some of our customers choose to store their loved one's cremains in the secure bag in which they are normally delivered by the funeral home or crematorium.
